Who I am

I am a designer and WordPress expert from Argentina offering professional services through https://dsign.com.ar. For more information, you can contact me at this address.

What personal data is collected on this website and why?

IP numbers may be logged temporarily, but not indefinitely, in order to protect the website from malicious activity. They are not associated with any other personally identifiable data and serve to prevent computer security risks. They may be sent to an automatic IP detection service, such as databases of numbers logged as a source of illegal activity.

Any other data is not personal data, and serves only for the purpose of collecting relevant Google Analytics and Google Search Console metrics.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the form and also the visitor’s IP address, as well as the browser’s user agent string, to help detect spam.

An anonymous string of characters created from your email address (also called a hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are already using it. The privacy policy of the Gravatar service is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval, your profile image is visible to the public within the context of your comment.

Multimedia

If you upload images to the website, you should prevent them from containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any such information in your images.

Contact forms

If you contact me through the contact form, the personal data you enter is automatically sent to me by email. It is used to communicate with prospective clients and provide information about my services, and it’s not shared with third parties or stored in any other application.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on the site, you can choose to save your name, email address and web address in cookies for your convenience so you don’t have to re-enter them when you leave another one. These cookies last for one year.

If you have an account and log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be set to determine whether your browser accepts them. This contains no personal data and is discarded when you close it.

When you log in, several cookies will also be set to save your login information and screen display options. Login cookies last for two days, and display options cookies last for one year. If you select Remember Me, your login will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, your login cookies will be deleted.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This does not include personal data and simply indicates the publication ID of the article you have just edited. It will expire after one day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, documents, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited those websites.

They may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third party tracking and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including additional tracking of other data if you have an account and are logged into that website.

Statistics

This website uses Google Analytics services to collect data and statistical metrics about its audience. It complies with all the rules it is bound by and does not share any personally identifiable information with Google or any other company.

However, it may collect some data for advertising purposes – such as cookies, which must be consented to by the user in order to use this website – which this company explains in detail at How Google uses information from websites or applications that use our services.

These are the Google Analytics Terms of Service.

With whom your data is shared

This website does not share personally identifiable information with any other company or vendor.

In the event that a comment is posted, it may be sent along with some data associated with it to an automatic spam detection service.

On certain specific occasions when a user agent attempts to use this web site for malicious activities, it is likely that its IP number (but no other data associated with it) will be logged for a certain period of time – and/or sent to another illegal activity detection service – in order to safeguard its own security and that of its legitimate users.

How long your data is retained

If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so that you can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on this website (if applicable), the personal information they provide in their user profile is also stored. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except their user name). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

What rights do you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you may request to receive an exported file of your personal data, including any data you have provided to me. You may also request that it be deleted. This does not include data that I am required to keep for administrative, security or legal purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments can be verified through an automatic spam detection service.

IP numbers may also be logged temporarily, but not indefinitely, in order to protect the website from malicious activity.

These IP numbers are not associated with any other personally identifiable data and serve to prevent computer security risks. They may be sent to an automatic IP detection service, such as databases of numbers registered as a source of illegal activities.
