S&T Accounting Studio is a website designed in Illustrator and implemented with WordPress, published in 2022.
The story
The initial requirement was a business card. As this would include the address of a traditional website, I suggested them to use this CMS, so that the maintenance and future development would be easier.
After trying some alternatives with monograms, they were more satisfied with the one I made from the initials of the name, in roman serifs, very clean and formal, as it is customary in their profession. These are complemented by a plinth written in modern geometric type:
Two young professionals need an image to show to potential new clients, both in person and virtually.
They will use it for social media, and eventually for a blog.
A logo fit the name of the studio and its sector, from which I designed a business card.
The final step was the layout of a web page. Although it was not part of the original requirement, I adapted the design to a dynamic WordPress template -made with PHP, HTML5 and Bootstrap- to make the website more versatile and sustainable over time.
The business card
The next step was the business card. The idea was to continue that traditional style and treat the other visual elements with geometric patterns and monochromatic palettes, based on contrast, gradation and symmetries:
The website
The next phase was to make a web layout accordingly, but now with colors, ones that did not stray too far from the initial look & feel.
The last stage of the process was to translate this Illustrator plate to a WordPress theme, following the mobile first approach. The functional version, already made in a prototype based on HTML5, PHP and Bootstrap, underwent some changes in the design, but in general kept that layout structured by blocks, along with its measures and margins, color palettes and fonts.
