Sign system for a sanitary installation. The idea was to use only one or two colors of low saturation, in addition to black and white (50% and 100%).
The pictograms are inscribed within a square with rounded edges on a purplish blue background, to which a 60° linear gradient is applied.
This plane must be circumscribed by a black border (1 mm was used for printing these plates).
Likewise, the figures inside may not use any color other than black and white, beyond interacting with the blue background if necessary (the case of the laboratory sign).
The shapes must also be repeated as often as the similarity with other signs allows.
For this, the grid is divided into four equal parts, with the horizontal and vertical edge sections subdivided in half.
The typography should be sans serif, as clear and legible as possible from a distance.
White on black or blue and black on white. Futura medium, in capitals, except when only text (i. e. a doctor's name) is used.
